Governed by our executive committee and alliance board, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wisconsin is a nonprofit organization formed to organize clubs into a single force of leverage and influence, and secure state and private funding to make a real impact. The executive committee is elected by and from the 26 CEOs who run Wisconsin Clubs. They include:

WI Regional Structure

To facilitate leadership for the Executive Committee, the Boys & Girls Clubs in the state of WI are grouped into regions. Each region is represented on the WI Executive Committee. It is the WI Executive Committee member for each region’s responsibility to ensure WI Executive Committee reports are provided their regions

State Director Andy Gussert

Andy serves the CEOs of our clubs across Wisconsin, and was recognized as the 2019 National Professional of the Year in Government Relations by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He previously worked in youth leadership training with the Wisconsin Association of Student Councils (WASC), as an instructor at Madison College and University of Wisconsin, and as State President of an educational association. In 2000 to 2005, he served as a board member for the Vera Court Community Center.

Andy is a first generation college graduate from Lawrence University, and graduated Cum Laude from University of Miami Law School in 1997. He also worked at the top levels of government and non-profits for over two decades, including positions as director of a statewide youth alliance, national president of a trade coalition, and executive director of a government research bureau.
